When it comes to black paint, many people are afraid to commit. However, I am here to tell you that, when done right, black paint adds such a statement!
Today I would like to share with you my tried-and-true favorite black paints!
Although all 4 of these colors are amazing, I am going to focus on my all-time favorite…Benjamin Moore Black Tar. This is the color that we have all throughout our personal home.
Our home windows are black on black from the Andersen 100 series, so I naturally wanted our doors to match.
Our Windsor doors had to be painted on-site and BM Black Tar seemed to match our windows perfectly! Score!
I also wanted to bring in a bold statement feature in our kitchen and did that by purchasing a matte graphite Hallman range and had a Brooks Brothers custom built range hood installed above it. The hood is, of course, Black Tar to match the rest of our home!
We also had our mudroom door painted the same color. I LOVE having a dark colored door leading into the home from the garage because it helps hide all of the dirt! And, living on a ranch, we have A LOT of dirt!
